Before Fame

She grew up wanting to be in show business. She started as a dancer and worked as a stand-in for Judy Garland. Her first acting role was in the Army Signal Corps hygiene training film Pickup Girl. Her first lead role was in the film Navajo Kid. 

Trivia

She is the last surviving member of the cast of The Wizard of Oz. She is one of only 13 people who survived the Standard Air Lines crash of Flight 897R. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Hollywood, California. She married Bill Doll in the year 1950, and they were married until he died in the year 1979. She has one son. Her sister was actress Dorothy Morris.
